Arnaldo Tercero made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Gernando Sarmento sent off a good shot on target. Arnaldo Tercero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flávio Mineiro in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Flávio Mineiro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnaldo Tercero was relentless in the 6th minute of the game. After 8 played minutes CA INCAS got a freekick which was hit by Fabio Txerran. The supporters of CA INCAS booed when Engenheiros da Vila was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Panella didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, CA INCAS's Arnaldo Tercero got control of the ball when Gernando Sarmento tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 16 played minutes Engenheiros da Vila got a freekick which was hit by Adriano Panella. 18 minutes into the match, CA INCAS's goalkeeper Arnaldo Tercero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gernando Sarmento. Arnaldo Tercero made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Adriano Panella sent off a good shot on target. Arnaldo Tercero was a little too slow when Sérgio Jacinto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 29th minute. The score was now 1-0. Arnaldo Tercero came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by Engenheiros da Vila's Eliseu Brasil. But to his dismay, Eliseu Brasil quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 41 minutes into the match, CA INCAS's goalkeeper Arnaldo Tercero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sérgio Jacinto. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseu Brasil in the 44th minute of play forced CA INCAS's goalkeeper Arnaldo Tercero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. CA INCAS's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Gernando Sarmento scored to the left of an out of position Arnaldo Tercero, making the score, 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabio Txerran to make the kick off. Flávio Mineiro scored 4-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnaldo Tercero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 57 minutes into the game, Sérgio Jacinto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Arnaldo Tercero was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 63 played minutes CA INCAS got a freekick which was hit by Feliciano Licerio. CA INCAS's Arnaldo Tercero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Mineiro in the 65th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sérgio Jacinto in the 66th minute of play forced CA INCAS's goalkeeper Arnaldo Tercero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Eliseu Brasil made a precise shot to the right of Arnaldo Tercero. CA INCAS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. In the 76th minute Feliciano Licerio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Queirós saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 81 minutes into the match, CA INCAS's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseu Brasil came free, but Arnaldo Tercero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Gernando Sarmento left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Engenheiros da Vila fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 9-0. After 88 minutes of play, Engenheiros da Vila's Sérgio Jacinto made it 10-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnaldo Tercero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arnaldo Tercero was left in no man's land by his defense there! 96 minutes into the match, Gernando Sarmento had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnaldo Tercero. CA INCAS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gernando Sarmento was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 12-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Engenheiros da Vila fully deserved thier win.
