Francisco Pelagius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani de Toledo in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Lino Madeo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Artur Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 10 played minutes MDS Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Koko Merdan. Rafael Marques kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Artur Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lino Madeo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Francisco Pelagius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernani de Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Lino Madeo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Artur Romero having to interfere. MDS Soccer Club's Artur Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lino Madeo in the 23rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, MDS Soccer Club's Fernando Jacinto got a free kick in the 25th minute. Artur Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Madeo in the 27th minute of the match. Artur Romero came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by Reconquistense FC's Lino Madeo. But to his dismay, Lino Madeo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lino Madeo in the 35th minute of play forced MDS Soccer Club's goalkeeper Artur Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reconquistense FC were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after MDS Soccer Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Prudencio Raulo took the corner. When José Maria Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the MDS Soccer Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Maria Mineiro couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Lino Madeo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Artur Romero was relentless in the 45th minute of the game. Milosz Solecki hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Cleiton Paraíba made the kick off in the second half. Reconquistense FC's Prudencio Raulo pulled a muscle in his leg after 54 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After a rather tough play, MDS Soccer Club's Koko Merdan got a free kick in the 55th minute. Reconquistense FC's Francisco Pelagius played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleiton Paraíba in the 57th minute of play. Lino Madeo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 60thth minute, Artur Romero skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 65 minutes had been played when some careless play by Reconquistense FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. José Maria Mineiro was slow to take the kick. During this time MDS Soccer Club's players had a chance to rest. Francisco Pelagius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleiton Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. MDS Soccer Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by José Maria Mineiro in the 68th minute. The corner ended in José Maria Mineiro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Reconquistense FC's Francisco Pelagius did a great save. After 70 minutes, Ricardinho da Silva mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MDS Soccer Club and the Reconquistense FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 70 played minutes MDS Soccer Club got a freekick which was hit by Ricardinho da Silva. If Lino Madeo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Artur Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lino Madeo's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. 78 minutes into the match, MDS Soccer Club's goalkeeper Artur Romero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lino Madeo. Francisco Pelagius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cleiton Paraíba in the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, MDS Soccer Club's goal looked a bit too open when Lino Madeo came free, but Artur Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes, Cleiton Paraíba mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MDS Soccer Club and the Reconquistense FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, MDS Soccer Club's Cleiton Paraíba got a free kick in the 90th minute. Reconquistense FC's Silvestre Joanes got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of MDS Soccer Club booed when Reconquistense FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silvestre Joanes didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Reconquistense FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
