The Siro Cordeiro was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Siro Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Paranaense in the 26th minute of play. A hard shot 32 in the game by Luiz Fabiano Gomes from a close distance when the talented Siro Cordeiro managed to make a qualified save. CENTAURO's players were relieved. When Léo Leite fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FRIENDS CITY's protests and gave Léo Leite a yellow card for diving instead. With an all-out effort, FRIENDS CITY's Siro Cordeiro threw himself towards the right post 45 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Jorginho Paranaense, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Siro Cordeiro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorginho Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. CENTAURO's Siro Cordeiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorginho Paranaense in the 52nd minute of play. CENTAURO's Basilio Cresencio got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Siro Cordeiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fabiano Gomes in the 57th minute of the match. Siro Cordeiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Paranaense in the 58th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Basilio Cresencio in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustão de Carvalho prevented the ball from getting in the gole. FRIENDS CITY's Faustão de Carvalho proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save FRIENDS CITY from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Honorio Cresencio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Faustão de Carvalho was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 68th minute, Reynaldo Txomin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siro Cordeiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the CENTAURO players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FRIENDS CITY.
