Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Alvar Öberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Fred Karlsson came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Alejandro Jerrald got a free kick in the 28th minute. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atletico Rio Tercero's goalkeeper Alvar Öberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 minutes Club Atletico Rio Tercero's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Dawid Beckham who took care of the corner kick. After the first half AFC FUSION were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aureliano Karlo to strike the kick off in the second half. Aureliano Karlo might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alvar Öberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aureliano Karlo ran back to his position shaking his head. Alvar Öberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 67th minute of the match. Roberto Eztebe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacobo Mark, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute.
