An unexpectedly hard shot by 许明卫 in the 51st minute of play forced Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper Ariel Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pan FC's Sebastian Quirce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Pan FC from getting a goal against them. Urbano Mendiko made in the 64th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Feliciano Fernendo. After some careless play in the Villa Mitre City defense, Arnaldo Urtzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ariel Ponc. The Villa Mitre City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Ponc should have stopped the shot. Pan FC made a substitution. Antonio Sabina replaced Ambrosio Opilano. If Arnaldo Urtzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. If Arnaldo Urtzi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arnaldo Urtzi in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ariel Ponc saved Villa Mitre City from getting behind. Arnaldo Urtzi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beltrán De Filippo's late challenge caught a Villa Mitre City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Beltrán De Filippo helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Pan FC getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Beltrán De Filippo hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ferdinando Buccella in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sebastian Quirce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Villa Mitre City's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Pan FC had won, even though Villa Mitre City had held more of the ball.
