Agustín Grillo charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Agustín Grillo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Ernesto Guevara SyD getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Agustín Grillo hit a great ball. 9 minutes into the game, Aureliano Karlo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Enzo Rodriguez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Enzo Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Lionel Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roberto Eztebe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Ernesto Guevara SyD's Pascual Bernat sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roberto Eztebe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enzo Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germano Bettencourt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Enzo Rodriguez made a huge save. AFC FUSION's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Dawid Beckham in the 25th minute. A nice corner shot did that Thiago Silva got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Enzo Rodriguez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 30th minute of play forced Ernesto Guevara SyD's goalkeeper Enzo Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ernesto Guevara SyD's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dawid Beckham was slow to take the kick. During this time AFC FUSION's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Dawid Beckham almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ernesto Guevara SyD's Enzo Rodriguez did a great save. 33 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enzo Rodriguez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 35 minutes, Aureliano Karlo took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Enzo Rodriguez to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aureliano Karlo in the 40th minute of play forced Ernesto Guevara SyD's goalkeeper Enzo Rodriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enzo Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 43rd minute of play. When AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ernesto Guevara SyD's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Ernesto Guevara SyD's Maximo Geofredo got a free kick in the 44th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lionel Richie stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Enzo Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 59th minute of play. Enzo Rodriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 62nd minute of the match. Ernesto Guevara SyD's Beto Almada was substituted for Lionel Richie. Ernesto Guevara SyD's Marcos Tirso was substituted for Pascual Bernat. AFC FUSION's Wojciech Fiszer was substituted for Gabriel Diaz. Enzo Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wojciech Fiszer, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Karlo in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Enzo Rodriguez saved Ernesto Guevara SyD from getting behind. In the 74th match minute, AFC FUSION was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guido Txindoki to maneuver through the defense. Guido Txindoki hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Enzo Rodriguez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mari Balotelli in the 83rd minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Ernesto Guevara SyD's goal looked a bit too open when Mari Balotelli came free, but Enzo Rodriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. AFC FUSION's Roberto Eztebe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save AFC FUSION from getting a goal against them. AFC FUSION's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
