The referee ignored El Fortín de Floresta's protests and gave Casimiro Policarpio a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, El Fortín de Floresta's Casimiro Policarpio got a free kick in the 5th minute. Conrado Erramun shot from long distance after 5 played minutes, a shot that Santos Orlan with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. A collision led to El Fortín de Floresta getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Lucio Stanislao hit a great ball. Sebastian Kismi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Santos Orlan having to interfere. A sloppy throw-in by Lisandro Martinez in the 15th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Machine Gun Kelly's Marc-Aurèle Bougault. Machine Gun Kelly's Tadeo Udalaitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucio Stanislao in the 17th minute of play. Francisco Sá came free with the goalkeeper in the 19th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Santos Orlan could save by the left post. The supporters of El Fortín de Floresta booed when Machine Gun Kelly was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Martin Oihan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tadeo Udalaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Delmar Manex in the 22nd minute of play. Santos Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epifanio Lartaun in the 25th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 31 minutes, Conrado Erramun took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Santos Orlan to make any attempt to save it. Conrado Erramun was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 43rd minute. Machine Gun Kelly's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 44 minutes into the match, El Fortín de Floresta's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Kismi came free, but Santos Orlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Conrado Erramun made a kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Salvador Hats got free with Tadeo Udalaitz in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tadeo Udalaitz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Flavio Luar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Machine Gun Kelly getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Conrado Erramun hit a great ball. Machine Gun Kelly's Tony Parker was substituted for Sebastian Kismi. Santos Orlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Boniel in the 72nd minute of the match. Santos Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Boniel in the 74th minute of play. El Fortín de Floresta made a substitution. Silvestre Valiente replaced Lucio Stanislao. After 77 minutes El Fortín de Floresta's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Tony Parker who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Machine Gun Kelly's Tony Parker to fire away a dangerous shot which Santos Orlan despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Santos Orlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aristides Boniel in the 79th minute of play. Epifanio Lartaun took the ball and in the 87 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Santos Orlan. Santos Orlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some careless play in the El Fortín de Floresta defense, Aristides Boniel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Santos Orlan. The El Fortín de Floresta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Santos Orlan should have stopped the shot. Machine Gun Kelly were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of El Fortín de Floresta for a fine match.
