After taking down the ball on Pan FC's corner Esteve Cordarrel fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Alvar Öberg quite easily take care of the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Pan FC's 许明卫 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alvar Öberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 34th minute, 许明卫 reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Alvar Öberg. The goal made the score 2-0. Alvar Öberg was a little too slow when 许明卫 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 37th minute. The score was now 3-0.

In the 52nd minute, 许明卫 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pan FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Alvar Öberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 许明卫 in the 55th minute of play. 许明卫 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alvar Öberg having to make a save. Alvar Öberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 许明卫, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 许明卫 in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvar Öberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Saturnino Rubio fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Atletico Rio Tercero's protests and gave Saturnino Rubio a yellow card for diving instead. Saturnino Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Alvar Öberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Rio Tercero defense, Arnaldo Urtzi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alvar Öberg. The Club Atletico Rio Tercero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alvar Öberg should have stopped the shot. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
