AFC FUSION's supporters rose to their feet, but Aureliano Karlo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silvano Portillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute Aureliano Karlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Portillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Prudencio Goiz scored 0-1 in the 46th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Roberto Eztebe, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After having played for 85 minutes, Dawid Beckham managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC FUSION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dawid Beckham was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 91st match minute, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tobias Xacintu to maneuver through the defense. Aureliano Karlo hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
