The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 许明卫 in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg You Sheng Qi saved La Herradura FC from getting behind. In the 17th minute, 许明卫 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sebastian Quirce came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by La Herradura FC's Osvaldo Grillo. But to his dismay, Osvaldo Grillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. You Sheng Qi was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and 许明卫 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 许明卫 really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. 许明卫 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 30thth minute tested the skills of You Sheng Qi when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, La Herradura FC's Yuri Alcântara got a free kick in the 34th minute. When 许明卫 came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Pan FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 许明卫 couldn't finish the play. You Sheng Qi was a little too slow when 许明卫 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 3-2. You Sheng Qi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 许明卫, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 许明卫 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-2 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 许明卫 to strike the kick off in the second half. You Sheng Qi stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of 许明卫's shot from short distance in the 52nd minute. After 54 minutes La Herradura FC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Esteve Cordarrel who took care of the corner kick. After 55 minutes, Rene Eder mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Herradura FC and the Pan FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La Herradura FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Rene Eder hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 56 minutes, the score became 4-2 when 许明卫 sped through La Herradura FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of You Sheng Qi. You Sheng Qi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arnaldo Urtzi in the 61st minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Urtzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of You Sheng Qi. La Herradura FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Urtzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Pan FC made a substitution. Sixto Raymond replaced Nelson Hawley. Pan FC's Antonio Sabina was substituted for Ambrosio Opilano. In the 72nd minute of the match Pan FC got a corner. La Herradura FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Esteve Cordarrel ran over to the corner to take the kick. You Sheng Qi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Urtzi in the 73rd minute of the match. Antonio Sabina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without You Sheng Qi having to interfere. When Pan FC's Arnaldo Urtzi in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye La Herradura FC's goalie prevented a goal. Pan FC's Sebastian Quirce proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Pan FC from getting a goal against them. Arnaldo Urtzi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without You Sheng Qi having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Urtzi in the 84th minute of play forced La Herradura FC's goalkeeper You Sheng Qi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Pan FC booed when La Herradura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arturo Jon scored 7-2 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of You Sheng Qi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Pan FC booed when La Herradura FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Efrain Gotzon didn't get a good kick on the ball.
