In the 10th minute, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Marco Gabon seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Marco Gabon the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Defensores del Ángel Gris protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Marco Gabon had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 10th minute, one of Defensores del Ángel Gris:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Defensores del Ángel Gris. 15 minutes into the match, Serafim Catranides notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc. Ariel Ponc was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With an all-out effort, Villa Mitre City's Nicolás DAndrea threw himself towards the right post 18 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kenny Sparkes, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Ariel Ponc stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Serafim Catranides's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. The Defensores del Ángel Gris fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Defensores del Ángel Gris's Serafim Catranides looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feliciano Fernendo got free with Nicolás DAndrea in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ferdinando Buccella's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nicolás DAndrea firmly grabbed it by the left post. If Serafim Catranides had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute Serafim Catranides shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Ponc saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute of the match, Feliciano Fernendo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nicolás DAndrea was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Villa Mitre City were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Defensores del Ángel Gris's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Honorato Demesio took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Honorato Demesio got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nicolás DAndrea quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. With a little luck, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea got control of the ball when Raul Argoitz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ferdinando Buccella to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Ferdinando Buccella ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicolás DAndrea was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. In the 54th minute Feliciano Fernendo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás DAndrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Lauro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nicolás DAndrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Villa Mitre City booed when Defensores del Ángel Gris was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafim Catranides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ferdinando Buccella took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicolás DAndrea. Nicolás DAndrea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-2. Nicolás DAndrea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinando Buccella in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute, Raul Argoitz fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Honorato Demesio succeeded in the game's 78th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 6-2. The audience was convinced that Ferdinando Buccella's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nicolás DAndrea was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. In the 83rdth minute of the game Ferdinando Buccella who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ferdinando Buccella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Nicolás DAndrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolás DAndrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raul Argoitz in the 92nd minute of play. In the 93rd minute Ferdinando Buccella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás DAndrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Flavio Lauro in the 95th minute of play forced Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalkeeper Nicolás DAndrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Villa Mitre City's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
