In the 4th minute of the match Venancio Calisto sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hugo Orlando Gatti skillfully saved the ball. After 14 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Saul Lamberto. Cecilio Tristan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Napoleon Dziedelonis having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Saul Baumer in the 18th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hugo Orlando Gatti prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Napoleon Dziedelonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emiliano Enol, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Abuba Akotonon FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Genaro Elivareo in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Min in the 24th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Genaro Elivareo's late challenge caught a Zuberbühler FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Genaro Elivareo helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Abuba Akotonon FC's Genaro Elivareo got a free kick in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Saul Lamberto in the 30th minute of play forced Abuba Akotonon FC's goalkeeper Hugo Orlando Gatti to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hugo Orlando Gatti took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Saul Baumer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Venancio Calisto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hugo Orlando Gatti having to make a save. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Min in the 41st minute of play. Zuberbühler FC's Napoleon Dziedelonis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save Zuberbühler FC from getting a goal against them.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cecilio Tristan to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Abuba Akotonon FC's goal looked a bit too open when Saul Baumer came free, but Hugo Orlando Gatti reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti got control of the ball when Iwan Sebzda tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vânderson Barbosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Napoleon Dziedelonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vânderson Barbosa in the 57th minute of the match. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marciano Min in the 59th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Marciano Min took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Hugo Orlando Gatti to make any attempt to save it. Zuberbühler FC's Jonathan Iruinea was substituted for Marciano Min. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cecilio Tristan in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Hugo Orlando Gatti showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saul Lamberto in the 79th minute of the match. Jonathan Iruinea struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Hugo Orlando Gatti didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zuberbühler FC. Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Iruinea in the 87th minute of play. In the 88th minute Jonathan Iruinea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Orlando Gatti saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hugo Orlando Gatti made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Jonathan Iruinea sent off a good shot on target. Cecilio Tristan scored 1-1 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Napoleon Dziedelonis, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
