Lionel Richie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás DAndrea having to interfere. Eleuterio Chabier took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Enzo Rodriguez. Enzo Rodriguez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Lionel Richie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lionel Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Enzo Rodriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eleuterio Chabier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lionel Richie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 39 played minutes Defensores del Ángel Gris got a freekick which was hit by Ingmar Hellkvist. Nicolás DAndrea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lionel Richie in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Defensores del Ángel Gris getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Ingmar Hellkvist hit a great ball. When Ernesto Guevara SyD's Lionel Richie in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Defensores del Ángel Gris's goalie prevented a goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

53 minutes into the match, Defensores del Ángel Gris's Serafim Catranides sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enzo Rodriguez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Enzo Rodriguez came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Defensores del Ángel Gris's Serafim Catranides. But to his dismay, Serafim Catranides quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Lionel Richie scored 3-1 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nicolás DAndrea, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, Pascual Bernat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Guevara SyD made a substitution. Marcos Tirso replaced Pascual Bernat. After a rather tough play, Ernesto Guevara SyD's Pascual Bernat got a free kick in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute, one of Defensores del Ángel Gris:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Defensores del Ángel Gris. Anibal Mattin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enzo Rodriguez having to interfere. Nicolás DAndrea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Almada, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After 83 played minutes Defensores del Ángel Gris got a freekick which was hit by Ingmar Hellkvist. Beto Almada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingmar Hellkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match. Defensores del Ángel Gris's Nicolás DAndrea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Defensores del Ángel Gris from getting a goal against them. In the 96th minute, Beto Almada left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ernesto Guevara SyD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-4. The Defensores del Ángel Gris manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Ernesto Guevara SyD to win.
