The Abuba Akotonon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hugo Orlando Gatti should have stopped the shot. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Cecilio Tristan made the kick off in the second half. Saturnino Romo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Saturnino Romo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Abuba Akotonon FC's Hugo Orlando Gatti did a great save.
