The audience was convinced that Beto Almada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Silvano Portillo was relentless in the 30th minute of the game. Ernesto Guevara SyD's Marcos Tirso was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Silvano Portillo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Silvano Portillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Almada in the 33rd minute of play. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Prudencio Goiz got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Prudencio Goiz scored 0-4 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Enzo Rodriguez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Enzo Rodriguez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Prudencio Goiz, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Beto Almada made a kick off. Silvano Portillo came out of the goal in the 51st minute to try and stop a shot by Ernesto Guevara SyD's Aquiles Mikolas. But to his dismay, Aquiles Mikolas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Ernesto Guevara SyD's Lionel Richie was substituted for Beto Almada. 56 minutes into the game, Micael Póvoas threw the ball into play from the sideline. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Gică Bogdan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 59th minute Lionel Richie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silvano Portillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enzo Rodriguez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Prudencio Goiz in the 63rd minute. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team.
