An unexpectedly hard shot by Prudencio Goiz in the 4th minute of play forced AFC FUSION's goalkeeper Roberto Eztebe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. AFC FUSION's Romulo Abilio got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s zone, Guido Txindoki stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Silvano Portillo came out of the goal and Guido Txindoki tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paul Vase hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute of the match Gică Bogdan sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Roberto Eztebe skillfully saved the ball. After having played for 28 minutes, Aureliano Karlo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFC FUSION's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aureliano Karlo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 36 minutes into the match, AFC FUSION's goal looked a bit too open when Prudencio Goiz came free, but Roberto Eztebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silvano Portillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 38th minute of play. Silvano Portillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aureliano Karlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Eztebe made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Dobromir Prokowski sent off a good shot on target. 41 minutes had been played when some careless play by AFC FUSION's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gică Bogdan was slow to take the kick. During this time ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s players had a chance to rest. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Gică Bogdan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Roberto Eztebe in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Aureliano Karlo made the kick off in the second half. Prudencio Goiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aureliano Karlo in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Silvano Portillo saved ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ from getting behind. AFC FUSION's Aureliano Karlo got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆'s Saturnino Romo was substituted for Prudencio Goiz. Silvano Portillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aureliano Karlo in the 67th minute of the match. Roberto Eztebe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Saturnino Romo in the 70th minute of the match. After 71 minutes AFC FUSION's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gică Bogdan who took care of the corner kick. Saturnino Romo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Roberto Eztebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 74th minute, Aureliano Karlo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roberto Eztebe didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Saturnino Romo went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 95 played minutes AFC FUSION got a freekick which was hit by Wojciech Fiszer. When the referee blew the final whistle, ☆☆El Gordo Team☆☆ could leave the field as winners, despite AFC FUSION having more of the ball for most of the match.
