Paulo Txatxu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gugu de Mendonça in the 16th minute of the match. 21 minutes into the game, Rogelio Abeita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Paulo Txatxu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Road To Glory's Gugu de Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gugu de Mendonça might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Paulo Txatxu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gugu de Mendonça ran back to his position shaking his head. 30 minutes into the match, Q. T. I.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gugu de Mendonça came free, but Paulo Txatxu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The corner led Road To Glory's Gao Xing Zhen to fire away a dangerous shot which Paulo Txatxu despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. I.'s goalkeeper Paulo Txatxu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gugu de Mendonça. Road To Glory's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
