Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fermin Dolfo in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Carlos Quentin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Basri İhtiyar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcial Roldanillo in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Amedeo Biscotti managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yalapa's supporters rose to their feet, but Amedeo Biscotti was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Carlos Quentin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 39th minute Yalapa were awarded a corner. Fabian Rosalio went to the cornerflag to take it. Yalapa's Jose Nuno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Carlos Quentin in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fermin Dolfo might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Carlos Quentin. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Fermin Dolfo ran back to his position shaking his head. 44 minutes into the match, Pincha FC's goal looked a bit too open when Fermin Dolfo came free, but Carlos Quentin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Agustin Silvino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Basri İhtiyar made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Basri İhtiyar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustin Silvino in the 54th minute of the match. Fermin Dolfo hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Yalapa made a substitution. Cristobal Isusko replaced Faustino Dimo.
