Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ferdinando Buccella kicked off to start the match. Ariel Ponc was a little too slow when Santiago Mino got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. In the 34th minute, Generoso Laurgain hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Santiago Mino in the 34th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ariel Ponc prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ariel Ponc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Santiago Mino went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Santiago Mino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ariel Ponc having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Carles Borg got a free kick in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Santiago Mino stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Villa Mitre City's Benigno Ibañez got a free kick in the 51st minute. The audience was convinced that Santiago Mino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ariel Ponc was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Mitre City's zone, Santiago Mino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. In the 82nd match minute, Palermo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfons Hellström to maneuver through the defense. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ariel Ponc showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jhonny Del Fierro, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Palermo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feliciano Fernendo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Palermo had won after a very even match.
