Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gugu de Mendonça started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Alfredo Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gugu de Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Road To Glory defense, Santiago Mino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ariel Venerando. The Road To Glory fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Venerando should have stopped the shot. After 12 minutes Palermo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gugu de Mendonça who took care of the corner kick. Road To Glory's Gugu de Mendonça got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Arnoldo Medina received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ariel Venerando came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnoldo Medina slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 20th minute. Isaias Grove hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. The throw-in from Isaias Grove in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Road To Glory's Gregorio Guillelmo. Palermo's Alfredo Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gugu de Mendonça in the 39th minute of play. Gugu de Mendonça's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Joey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

With a little luck, Palermo's Alfredo Joey got control of the ball when Gugu de Mendonça tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the last second Alfredo Joey throw himself and got hold of the ball when Gugu de Mendonça in the 53rdth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Ariel Venerando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santiago Mino in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gugu de Mendonça in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alfredo Joey prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gugu de Mendonça got free with Alfredo Joey in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute Arnoldo Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ariel Venerando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ariel Venerando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Medina in the 63rd minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Gugu de Mendonça came free, but Alfredo Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Gugu de Mendonça put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Alfredo Joey. Santiago Mino scored 3-1 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ariel Venerando, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Palermo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 78th minute, when Gugu de Mendonça scored to the left of an out of position Alfredo Joey, making the score, 3-2. Alfredo Joey made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Gugu de Mendonça sent off a good shot on target. Palermo's Jhonny Del Fierro was substituted for Arnoldo Medina. 88 minutes into the match, Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gugu de Mendonça. The supporters of Palermo booed when Road To Glory was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rogelio Abeita didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Road To Glory's goal looked a bit too open when Jhonny Del Fierro came free, but Ariel Venerando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Palermo were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
