In the 5th match minute, Soroca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrián Espadas to maneuver through the defense. Narciso Noe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Vitaliy Vischak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon got control of the ball when Amador Venceslao tried to sneak it across the goal line. With his leg Pierluigi Buffon managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Soroca F.C.'s Amador Venceslao fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Soroca F.C.'s Amador Venceslao was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 9th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 12th minute of play. Vitaliy Vischak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 17th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierluigi Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the last second Pierluigi Buffon throw himself and got hold of the ball when Adrián Espadas in the 17thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Amador Venceslao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Pierluigi Buffon made a huge save. In the 28th minute of the match, Rodolfo Atarrabi got a very nice opportunity to score, but Pierluigi Buffon was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After a defensive mix-up in KaoS Futbol Club's zone, Rodolfo Atarrabi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierluigi Buffon came out of the goal and Rodolfo Atarrabi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 41 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jacob Albuquerque came free, but Vitaliy Vischak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 45th match minute, Soroca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Venceslao to maneuver through the defense. When Cássio Zonta fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Soroca F.C.'s protests and gave Cássio Zonta a yellow card for diving instead. Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Godofredo Quilino replaced Christian Gagriel. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrián Espadas made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Atarrabi came free, but Pierluigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pierluigi Buffon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adrián Espadas in the 57th minute of play. Soroca F.C.'s Cosme Jaen was substituted for Rodolfo Atarrabi. Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula was substituted for Adrián Espadas. The throw-in from Cyprien Combaz in the 59th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by KaoS Futbol Club's Noel Hargrave. KaoS Futbol Club's Pierluigi Buffon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosme Jaen in the 62nd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cosme Jaen in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierluigi Buffon saved KaoS Futbol Club from getting behind. Cosme Jaen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Pierluigi Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. In the 70th minute, Cosme Jaen made a precise shot to the right of Pierluigi Buffon. KaoS Futbol Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. KaoS Futbol Club made a substitution. Andres Baresi replaced Amancio Semeno. In the 82nd minute of the match KaoS Futbol Club got a corner. Soroca F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Noel Hargrave ran over to the corner to take the kick. Noel Hargrave made a great header on KaoS Futbol Club's corner, it was just that Soroca F.C.'s Vitaliy Vischak managed to reach the ball for a save. Igor Lebas kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 85th minute, Cosme Jaen ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Pierluigi Buffon was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 89th minute Narciso Noe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitaliy Vischak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes had been played when some careless play by Soroca F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Noel Hargrave was slow to take the kick. During this time KaoS Futbol Club's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Noel Hargrave almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Soroca F.C.'s Vitaliy Vischak did a great save. 92 minutes into the match, KaoS Futbol Club's goal looked a bit too open when Răzvan Necula came free, but Pierluigi Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Răzvan Necula's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Pierluigi Buffon was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. KaoS Futbol Club's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
