Thanks to some nice moves Carolo Rozarius could shoot a difficult shot in the 4th minute, which Vitaliy Vischak however easily saved by the left post. 6 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Vitaliy Vischak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Rozarius. Alfredo Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Atarrabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Medina in the 10th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Vitaliy Vischak to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Vitaliy Vischak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carolo Rozarius. Vitaliy Vischak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnoldo Medina in the 19th minute of the match. Soroca F.C.'s Vitaliy Vischak played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Medina in the 21st minute of play. In the 22nd minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredo Joey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 24th minute Santiago Mino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitaliy Vischak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredo Joey took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodolfo Atarrabi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Espadas in the 29th minute of play forced Palermo's goalkeeper Alfredo Joey to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The shot missed the goal on the right side and Arnoldo Medina ran dejectedly back to his position. Arnoldo Medina didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 33rd minute. Palermo's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! A collision led to Soroca F.C. getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Iordanis Karatzaferis hit a great ball. In the 36th minute of the match Carolo Rozarius sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vitaliy Vischak skillfully saved the ball. Alfredo Joey didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adrián Espadas went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Palermo's Alfredo Joey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodolfo Atarrabi in the 42nd minute of play. When Adrián Espadas came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Soroca F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrián Espadas couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Soroca F.C. made a substitution. Godofredo Quilino replaced Christian Gagriel. Alfredo Joey made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodolfo Atarrabi in the 53rd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Palermo's goal looked a bit too open when Rodolfo Atarrabi came free, but Alfredo Joey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Rodolfo Atarrabi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Alfredo Joey was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Arnoldo Medina scored 2-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vitaliy Vischak, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 58 played minutes Soroca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Zézinho Neiva. The supporters of Palermo booed when Soroca F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zézinho Neiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alfredo Joey came out of the goal in the 66th minute to try and stop a shot by Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula. But to his dismay, Răzvan Necula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 70th minute, one of Palermo:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Palermo. The goalkeeper, Alfredo Joey, was totally fooled by Soroca F.C.'s Natalio Mazuste, who 72 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Vitaliy Vischak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnoldo Medina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitaliy Vischak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelino Chaime, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredo Joey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Soroca F.C. were awarded a corner in the 81th minute after Palermo's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Godofredo Quilino took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Godofredo Quilino managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Palermo's Jhonny Del Fierro was substituted for Arnoldo Medina. Răzvan Necula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alfredo Joey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 85th minute of play. The attack was good, but when Răzvan Necula in the 85th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Cosme Jaen's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Alfredo Joey firmly grabbed it by the left post. Alfredo Joey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Necula, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute.
