Ariel Ponc didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marciano Mundo went, in the 5th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. In the 8th minute of the match, Flavio Lauro got a very nice opportunity to score, but MatĂas Patrone was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. A collision led to Los Delfines getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Honorio Eder hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Mundo in the 18th minute of play forced Villa Mitre City's goalkeeper Ariel Ponc to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MatĂas Patrone showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinando Buccella, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alessio Borrelli in the 42nd minute of play. A collision led to Villa Mitre City getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Urbano Mendiko hit a great ball. Urbano Mendiko kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. If Ambrosio Bartolome had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Villa Mitre City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Los Delfines were winning 1-2.

After some careless play in the Villa Mitre City defense, Dani Cáceres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ariel Ponc. The Villa Mitre City fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ariel Ponc should have stopped the shot. Raimundo Goyo kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Villa Mitre City's Ariel Ponc proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to save Villa Mitre City from getting a goal against them. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Los Delfines had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
