Marlin FC's Ambrosio Quilino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edin Džeko in the 2nd minute of play. F.C. Sosnowiec's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marlin FC the free kick. Iwan Cempa charged in rather forcefully in the 32nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Ambrosio Quilino came out of the goal and Wasyl Majdoch tried to chip the ball over his head. Marlin FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonard Lewkowicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. Ambrosio Quilino came out of the goal and Leonard Lewkowicz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamin Ramone to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Lewkowicz got free with Ambrosio Quilino in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Primitivo Fidensio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Kacper Tobiáš tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 57th minute Pablo Orti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kacper Tobiáš saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Leonard Lewkowicz got free with Ambrosio Quilino in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arnaldo Darien made in the 87th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ignacio Derwin immediately put the ball in play. Guaberto Malvin's late challenge caught a F.C. Sosnowiec's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Guaberto Malvin helped the player get up and apologised. Guaberto Malvin kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
