The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd minute, Rafail Rusev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 31 minutes of play, Valette Stars's Rafail Rusev made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. John Arvidsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 39 played minutes Menofta got a freekick which was hit by Isak Tunander. In the 41st minute Saul Eriz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but John Arvidsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the game, Valette Stars's Kilian Risse nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John Arvidsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. The Menofta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. After a rather tough play, Menofta's Bernt Ryberg got a free kick in the 55th minute. Menofta's John Arvidsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Menofta from getting a goal against them. John Arvidsson made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Valentin Bellard sent off a good shot on target. The Valette Stars players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
