The audience thought a goal was coming when Casimir Brazol got free with Manúel Bento in the 16th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Catarinense scored 0-1 in the 19th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Markus Bresack, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Dogelo's Manúel Bento got control of the ball when Casimir Brazol tried to sneak it across the goal line. Frank Catarinense might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Markus Bresack. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Catarinense ran back to his position shaking his head. Markus Bresack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Catarinense, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the game, Dogelo's Frank Catarinense nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Markus Bresack made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. 32 minutes into the match, Dogelo's Frank Catarinense sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Markus Bresack narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ricky Pflug stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Dogelo's Andre Piovezan got a free kick in the 51st minute. 56 minutes into the match, Friesenwerdermoor's goalkeeper Markus Bresack had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Catarinense. After 58 minutes, Frank Catarinense mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dogelo and the Friesenwerdermoor players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casimir Brazol in the 78th minute of play forced Dogelo's goalkeeper Manúel Bento to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Friesenwerdermoor's zone, Frank Catarinense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Markus Bresack came out of the goal and Frank Catarinense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Markus Bresack took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oliverios Marcilla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th minute, Dogelo's Oliverios Marcilla dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. Dogelo played a much better game than Friesenwerdermoor and deserved their victory. The Friesenwerdermoor players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
