Menofta's John Arvidsson tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Altay Bayındır made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bernt Ryberg in the 13th minute of play. Nils-Erik Boström's late challenge caught a SARI ZEYBEK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After having played for 20 minutes, Orkun Adar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SARI ZEYBEK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orkun Adar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 21 minutes into the game, Orkun Adar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. John Arvidsson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the game, SARI ZEYBEK's Orkun Adar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. John Arvidsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. After 33 minutes of play, SARI ZEYBEK's Orkun Adar made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. John Arvidsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Orkun Adar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orkun Adar in the 40th minute of play forced Menofta's goalkeeper John Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. John Arvidsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Özkan Özyuva in the 41st minute of the match. If Orkun Adar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Orkun Adar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. John Arvidsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Özkan Özyuva to strike the kick off in the second half. If Orkun Adar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orkun Adar in the 53rd minute of play forced Menofta's goalkeeper John Arvidsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Özkan Özyuva put it in 0-6 from a short distance just to the right of John Arvidsson. Orkun Adar blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without John Arvidsson having to make a save. SARI ZEYBEK's Özkan Özyuva came free and shot a quick shot against goal 70 minutes in the game, fortunately John Arvidsson had problems saving as it came toward the left post. 71 minutes into the match, SARI ZEYBEK's Orkun Adar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that John Arvidsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Orkun Adar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but John Arvidsson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Orkun Adar took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised John Arvidsson. John Arvidsson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. SARI ZEYBEK made a substitution. Nebi Tezkan replaced Orkun Adar. Menofta's John Arvidsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nebi Tezkan in the 87th minute of play. If Orbay Ayman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With splendid footwork Nebi Tezkan arrived in front of goal to shoot 0-8 by the left pole in the game's 96th minute. SARI ZEYBEK played a much better game than Menofta and deserved their victory. The Menofta players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
