The Undertakers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Andoni Zubizarreta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bendt Birkemark, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fran Pérez charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fran Pérez the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Valencia C.F.'s Andoni Zubizarreta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bendt Birkemark in the 25th minute of play. Undertakers FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Clemente Rodriguez in the 27th minute. The corner led Undertakers FC's Clemente Rodriguez to fire away a dangerous shot which Andoni Zubizarreta despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Andoni Zubizarreta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jens-Erik Stephansson in the 29th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Jens-Erik Stephansson notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Valencia C.F.'s Andoni Zubizarreta. Andoni Zubizarreta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 32 minutes into the match, Valencia C.F.'s goal looked a bit too open when Jens-Erik Stephansson came free, but Andoni Zubizarreta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute Jens-Erik Stephansson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andoni Zubizarreta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute, Lucian Bercea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Undertakers FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. The Valencia C.F. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Undertakers FC were winning 1-5.

The wind increased when Rodrigo Moreno made the kick off in the second half. After 51 played minutes Undertakers FC got a freekick which was hit by Altino Lameirinhas. If Altino Lameirinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Andoni Zubizarreta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Altino Lameirinhas's shot from short distance in the 61st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Altino Lameirinhas in the 62nd minute of play forced Valencia C.F.'s goalkeeper Andoni Zubizarreta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 64 minutes into the match, Lucian Bercea notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Valencia C.F.'s Andoni Zubizarreta. Andoni Zubizarreta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Rodrigo Moreno came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Valencia C.F. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo Moreno couldn't finish the play. Andoni Zubizarreta came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Undertakers FC's Jens-Erik Stephansson. But to his dismay, Jens-Erik Stephansson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-7. Valencia C.F.'s attentive Carlos Marchena managed to snatch the ball when Clemente Rodriguez made a throw-in in the 82nd minute of the game. Jerry Classon kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodrigo Moreno in the 84th minute of play forced Undertakers FC's goalkeeper Baron Van de Goor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Undertakers FC booed when Valencia C.F. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Marchena didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 89th minute, Artemio Birjaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Altino Lameirinhas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Andoni Zubizarreta made a huge save. Andoni Zubizarreta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Altino Lameirinhas, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. When the final whistle sounded Undertakers FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Valencia C.F..
