Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) DFP's Andrézinho Dracena started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 2nd minute of play forced DFP's goalkeeper Joel Vallengren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Netherlands were awarded a corner in the 3th minute after DFP's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the corner. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Joel Vallengren quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andrézinho Dracena in the 5th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Vallengren having to interfere. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrézinho Dracena in the 13th minute of play. In the 16th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Vallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joel Vallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stefano Lilipaly in the 22nd minute. Arnout Reekers was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Stefano Lilipaly capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Stefano Lilipaly really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Joel Vallengren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 25th minute of play. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 30th minute. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Vallengren having to interfere. Alex Nordin kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Joel Vallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. 42 minutes into the match, DFP's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Joel Vallengren reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gijsbert ter Kruimer to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes DFP got a freekick which was hit by Thor Hasselqvist. Gijsbert ter Kruimer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 56th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joel Vallengren saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, DFP's Viktor Alebom got a free kick in the 58th minute. In the 62nd match minute, DFP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Åke Löfgren to maneuver through the defense. Joel Vallengren acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 63rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer. After 68 played minutes DFP got a freekick which was hit by Åke Löfgren. Gustaaf Groeneveldt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Joel Vallengren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wim Wilmes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Vallengren having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gust Ennemans got a free kick in the 74th minute. Bas Tuitert hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kennet Martinsson in the 76th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stefano Lilipaly in the 79th minute of the match. Joel Vallengren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, DFP's Viktor Alebom got a free kick in the 80th minute. A collision led to DFP getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Viktor Alebom hit a great ball. Joel Vallengren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. DFP's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Wim Wilmes scored to the left of an out of position Joel Vallengren, making the score, 1-1.
