Jaroslaw Zjawin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 30th minute of play. If Siricio Liotta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 48 minutes Italy's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Damian Sierocki who took care of the corner kick. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Zaccheo Andolina to make the kick off. Tymoteusz Dylla hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Sails Stitinum's goalkeeper Jaroslaw Zjawin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adriano Curto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Jaroslaw Zjawin made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Italy left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Sails Stitinum.
