3 minutes into the match, Germany's Frank Sachs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Roger Federer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Frank Sachs in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Roger Federer saved KP Chemik Police from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in KP Chemik Police's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roger Federer came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 8th minute Zygmunt Pawlik shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on KP Chemik Police's corner Napoleon Marchlewicz fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. In the 13th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roger Federer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Napoleon Marchlewicz had a good opportunity to score a goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went on the wrong side of the left post. 20 minutes into the match, Zygmunt Pawlik dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tommy Kahn, 1-0. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Raimundo Larra tried to sneak it across the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Larra. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When Zygmunt Pawlik came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the KP Chemik Police fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zygmunt Pawlik couldn't finish the play. KP Chemik Police's Gilbert Rekowski was substituted for Rafal Huratiak. KP Chemik Police made a substitution. Aleksander Ptaszek replaced Edward Nowakowski. After 57 minutes KP Chemik Police's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Frank Sachs who took care of the corner kick. 59 minutes into the match, KP Chemik Police's goal looked a bit too open when Albin Holweck came free, but Roger Federer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 61 minutes into the game, Adrian Dreifuss was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave KP Chemik Police the free kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Zygmunt Pawlik managed to get in a good position for a shot. KP Chemik Police's supporters rose to their feet, but Zygmunt Pawlik was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 64 minutes into the match, KP Chemik Police's goalkeeper Roger Federer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. In a very dangerous position, a player in KP Chemik Police fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 66th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Germany a penalty, 67 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Frank Sachs, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of KP Chemik Police's Roger Federer. 1-1. Napoleon Marchlewicz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zygmunt Pawlik, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Linus Schwerner's late challenge caught a KP Chemik Police's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Linus Schwerner helped the player get up and apologised. In the 75th minute, Linus Schwerner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 76 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Zygmunt Pawlik came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Frank Sachs fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Frank Sachs a yellow card for diving instead. In the 78th minute, Frank Sachs hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind KP Chemik Police's goalkeeper Roger Federer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, KP Chemik Police's Ulryk Turak got a free kick in the 85th minute. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Larra, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After a rather tough play, Germany's Frank Sachs got a free kick in the 90th minute. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilbert Rekowski in the 98th minute of play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
