Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Viriato Moura started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nichlas Vesterdahl saved Randers A.F.C. from getting behind. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Rostholm in the 16th minute of play. Joel Wiltshire made in the 21st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Børge Buhr. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Joel Wiltshire in the 23 minute of the game. Joel Wiltshire made in the 24th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Børge Buhr immediately put the ball in play. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Terri Bulk, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Joel Wiltshire, made in the 30th minute of the game. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Terri Bulk to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee felt a red card was in order, 51 minutes into the game, when Arthur Shelby put in a rough tackle. The supporters of Portugal booed when Randers A.F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arthur Shelby didn't get a good kick on the ball. Portugal's Felipe Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 52nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 56th minute, Portugal's Caetano Moreira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nichlas Vesterdahl. Nichlas Vesterdahl yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Caetano Moreira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nichlas Vesterdahl came out and tried to block the shot, but Caetano Moreira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 58th minute. If Maciej Konieczny had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maciej Konieczny in the 61st minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 63rd minute, Caetano Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Terri Bulk in the 69th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Terri Bulk in the 71st minute of play. Maciej Konieczny fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Portugal made a substitution. Felipinho Amorim replaced Felipe Barreto. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Randers A.F.C. made a substitution. Bruno Steenbeck replaced Terri Bulk. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bruno Steenbeck went, in the 78th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Nichlas Vesterdahl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bartolomeu Dias in the 86th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maciej Konieczny during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Maciej Konieczny hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. Bruno Steenbeck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 94 minutes into the game, Randers A.F.C.'s Bruno Steenbeck nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wilson Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Randers A.F.C..
