After 28 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Janik Vogt. Tommy Kahn was a little too slow when Szilárd Bánhegyi got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 31st minute. The score was now 4-0. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Szilárd Bánhegyi in the 41stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Tommy Kahn, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rómeó Lukaku in the 42nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as 邵伟洲 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Tommy Kahn. That made the score 6-0 in the 45 minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-0 at half-time.

Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but 史旭林 made a huge save. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match.
