With an extended leg and a bit of luck Silverio Cordearo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 11th minute Gianluca Lapadula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Silverio Cordearo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gianluca Lapadula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Silverio Cordearo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. AC Papicho's Alexander Shaw played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Victoriano Sustrai in the 20th minute of play. 20 minutes into the match, Victoriano Sustrai notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of AC Papicho's Alexander Shaw. Alexander Shaw was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 23 minutes into the match, CA Quake's goal looked a bit too open when Gianluca Lapadula came free, but Silverio Cordearo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexander Shaw took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cayetano Aznaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute of the match CA Quake got a corner. AC Papicho's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rogelio Sadurni ran over to the corner to take the kick. Alexander Shaw stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andres Ubelteso's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. Silverio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gianluca Lapadula, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The AC Papicho fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when AC Papicho's Gianluca Lapadula looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gianluca Lapadula to make the kick off. Rogelio Sadurni hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Mora in the 57th minute of play forced CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Cordearo made a fantastic save in the 58th minute, when Gianluca Lapadula sent off a good shot on target. Silverio Cordearo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gianluca Lapadula went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. In the 63rd match minute, CA Quake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rogelio Sadurni to maneuver through the defense. CA Quake's Andres Ubelteso got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. CA Quake made a substitution. Tomi Giusti replaced Eloy Larra. In the 76th minute, Victoriano Sustrai made a precise shot to the right of Alexander Shaw. AC Papicho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. Alexander Shaw made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Ubelteso in the 79th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Ubelteso in the 86th minute of play forced AC Papicho's goalkeeper Alexander Shaw to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute Andres Ubelteso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Shaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute Victoriano Sustrai shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alexander Shaw saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 96 played minutes CA Quake got a freekick which was hit by Rogelio Sadurni. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. AC Papicho walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
