Jimeno Nevada took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Remzi Oruz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 9 minutes into the match, Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's Narciso Jerardo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jimeno Nevada narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Taci Argün got free with Kim-André van der Schans in the 11th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 14th minute, Taci Argün fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Kim-André van der Schans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Taci Argün in the 17th minute of the match. In the 19th minute of the match Club Atlético Magallanes got a corner. Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Samuel Pereira ran over to the corner to take the kick. Remzi Oruz scored 0-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jimeno Nevada, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Kim-André van der Schans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Taci Argün in the 31st minute of play. Jimeno Nevada made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remzi Oruz in the 33rd minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Jimeno Nevada, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kim-André van der Schans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviano Huilcaman in the 36th minute of play. In the 37th minute of the match Club Atlético Magallanes got a corner. Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Samuel Pereira ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Club Atlético Magallanes's Samuel Pereira to fire away a dangerous shot which Kim-André van der Schans despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The throw-in from Fermin Quin in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's Narciso Jerardo. Kim-André van der Schans made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gavino Rami in the 46th minute. In the 48th match minute, Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Tono to maneuver through the defense. 49 minutes into the game, Gavino Rami recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kim-André van der Schans. Gavino Rami showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gavino Rami stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jimeno Nevada was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Aldo Tono showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 55 minute of play. When Remzi Oruz came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remzi Oruz couldn't finish the play. If Remzi Oruz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gavino Rami in the 62nd minute of play forced Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC's goalkeeper Kim-André van der Schans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kim-André van der Schans didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gavino Rami went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Club Atlético Magallanes's Jimeno Nevada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remzi Oruz in the 73rd minute of play. Club Atlético Magallanes made a substitution. Tadeo Precioso replaced Samuel Pereira. Fermin Quin kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Club Atlético Magallanes's goalkeeper Jimeno Nevada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aldo Tono. In the 80th minute Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC were awarded a corner. Honorio Geleberto went to the cornerflag to take it. Aquiles Joey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kim-André van der Schans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Club Atlético Magallanes fans cheered their team off the field, for while Vαʅʅιɱαɳƈα FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
