The Sebastian Hellkvist was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Pavel Hanka made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jörn Svartengren in the 26th minute of play. Salvador Musacchio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sebastian Hellkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marek Řípa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jörn Svartengren struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Pavel Hanka didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de Guayaquil FC.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marek Řípa made a kick off. FK Košíře Praha's Pavel Hanka played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mateusz Giertych in the 55th minute of play. After 57 minutes FK Košíře Praha's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Salvador Musacchio who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Salvador Musacchio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FK Košíře Praha's Pavel Hanka did a great save.
