In the 40th match minute, Gnaget United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wempy Syukur to maneuver through the defense. When Björn Gustafsson came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the FC Talanglös fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Björn Gustafsson couldn't finish the play. Johnny Kopp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carl Kling in the 44th minute of the match. 46 minutes into the match, Gnaget United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Malte Broberg came free, but Ronnie Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Siro Benvido got free with Johnny Kopp in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After the first half FC Talanglös were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Örjan Öman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
