An unexpectedly hard shot by Carl Jonsson in the 8th minute of play forced GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Esbjörn Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Philip Åkerman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Ronnie Hellström made a huge save. Esbjörn Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ludvig Lund in the 12th minute of the match. Esbjörn Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carl Jonsson in the 14th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Carl Jonsson got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 24th minute, Siro Benvido left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gnaget United FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vitaliy van der Aa in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ronnie Hellström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Brian Lindberg took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Ronnie Hellström to make any attempt to save it. 38 minutes into the match, GrassNuts FC's Philip Åkerman sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ronnie Hellström narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Huang Gang almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Gnaget United FC's Ronnie Hellström did a great save. In the 41st minute Bogdan Utretskiy shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Gnaget United FC booed when GrassNuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pär Almkvist didn't get a good kick on the ball. Esbjörn Tunander didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Siro Benvido went, in the 43rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Siro Benvido to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute Siro Benvido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Esbjörn Tunander made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siro Benvido in the 62nd minute of play. Gnaget United FC's Ronnie Hellström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Philip Åkerman in the 69th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Philip Åkerman notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Gnaget United FC's Ronnie Hellström. Ronnie Hellström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Esbjörn Tunander was out of position in the 76 minute of play, and Bogdan Utretskiy capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Bogdan Utretskiy really showed his touch with that goal: 3-3. In the 86th minute Carl Kling shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Esbjörn Tunander saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Gnaget United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Philip Åkerman came free, but Ronnie Hellström reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ronnie Hellström showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vitaliy van der Aa in the 92nd minute of the match. In the 96th minute, Bogdan Utretskiy ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Esbjörn Tunander was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-4. The Gnaget United FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Gnaget United FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
