Niclas Danielsson was slow to take the kick. During this time Palestra do Interior's players had a chance to rest. After 16 minutes, Simon Brolin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vykans Vikingar and the Palestra do Interior players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Vykans Vikingar getting a freekick after 16 minutes play.
