Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Andreas Sandell started the match with the kick off. 8 minutes into the match, Maximilian Seger notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström. Karl-Erik Norström was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chen Ao Fan in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hampus Gallberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mansfield Town FC's Hampus Gallberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Keegan in the 16th minute of play. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Olofsson in the 17th minute of play. Karl-Erik Norström came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Mansfield Town FC's Andreas Sandell. But to his dismay, Andreas Sandell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Olofsson in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Håkan Kruse hit a great ball. Karl-Erik Norström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andreas Sandell in the 30th minute of play. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Georg Norström hit a great ball. Skövde AIK's Karl-Erik Norström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tor Olofsson in the 41st minute of play. After a rather tough play, Skövde AIK's Krister Uggstedt got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Andreas Sandell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Erik Norström having to interfere. After 45 played minutes Skövde AIK got a freekick which was hit by Georg Norström. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Kevin Keegan was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Skövde AIK's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Hampus Gallberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kevin Keegan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Skövde AIK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chen Ao Fan in the 55th minute. Skövde AIK's Chen Ao Fan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hampus Gallberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 62nd minute Tor Olofsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Erik Norström saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Marcus Nilsson got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Karl-Erik Norström quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Marcus Nilsson's shot from long distance was a real pearl which went to the right and just passed Karl-Erik Norström - 3-0 was put on the score board in the 64th minute. Karl-Erik Norström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tor Olofsson in the 67th minute of play. In the 75th minute, Maximilian Seger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Karl-Erik Norström was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Mansfield Town FC made a substitution. Michael Gudmundsson replaced Tor Olofsson. Karl-Erik Norström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximilian Seger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 86 minutes, Kevin Keegan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Skövde AIK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Keegan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mansfield Town FC's Tobias Bern got a free kick in the 91st minute. In the 93rd minute, Filip Brolin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Karl-Erik Norström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Gudmundsson in the 94th minute of play. In the 96th minute, Maximilian Seger made a precise shot to the right of Karl-Erik Norström. Skövde AIK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Mansfield Town FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
