An unexpectedly hard shot by Takacs Tibor in the 15th minute of play forced TaTeRo Boys's goalkeeper Michel Neuer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16thth minute of the game Er Håland who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 20th minute Hans Kilstedt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Takacs Tibor notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of TaTeRo Boys's Michel Neuer. If Hans Kilstedt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Er Håland in the 43rd minute of play. The TaTeRo Boys players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Hungary were winning 1-2.

Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hans Kilstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. TaTeRo Boys were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Hungary's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Olívio Andrade took the corner.
