In the 12th minute Tincho Palermo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ter Stefanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnout Reekers stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tincho Palermo's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Ter Stefanek played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 25th minute of play. After 40 minutes of play, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Tincho Palermo made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnout Reekers was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ter Stefanek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Gijsbert ter Kruimer made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Ter Stefanek in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 54 played minutes CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS got a freekick which was hit by Teofilo Ourente. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 56th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Ter Stefanek managed to reach the ball for a save. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Ter Stefanek. A sloppy throw-in by Kees Mooiweer in the 62nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Ali Kağan Özerek. When CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Tincho Palermo in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ter Stefanek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 72nd minute of play. 74 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Răuțchi came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ter Stefanek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wim Wilmes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 89th minute, Ciprian Răuțchi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. After a rather tough play, CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS's Ciprian Răuțchi got a free kick in the 93rd minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. CRONOPIOS Y FAMAS were victorious despite being under pressure from Netherlands for much of the match.
