Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Erik Jilek started the match with the kick off. When Panait Groza came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Old Boys fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Panait Groza couldn't finish the play. If Denis Dostal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vavrinec Holub made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Groza in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Georgi Asparuhov recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vavrinec Holub. Georgi Asparuhov showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Erik Jilek had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dacian Ecobescu. Old Boys's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Erik Jilek was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Valdemar Turecek's late challenge caught a Old Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Valdemar Turecek helped the player get up and apologised. Valdemar Turecek kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panait Groza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute, Georgi Asparuhov left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Old Boys fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. If Flavius Nebunu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 24 minutes, Gelu Feraru put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 26th minute, which inside left pole to 4-1. With his leg Vavrinec Holub managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Old Boys's Gelu Feraru fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Gelu Feraru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Vavrinec Holub having to make a save. After 34 played minutes Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Feraru. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Gelu Feraru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Gelu Feraru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Georgi Asparuhov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Vavrinec Holub made a huge save. After 39 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Czech Republic! Dacian Ecobescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Erik Jilek in the 45th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the match had gone on for 51 minutes, Gelu Feraru put it in 6-1 from a short distance just to the right of Vavrinec Holub. In the 60th match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kvetoslav Janku to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Old Boys's Basarab Strungă tried to score from far away in the 61st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 64th play minute Alan Rezek came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Dacian Ecobescu. 6-2. When Denis Dostal came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the Czech Republic fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Denis Dostal couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. David Rusil hit a great ball. After 75 played minutes Old Boys got a freekick which was hit by Irinel Șeicaru. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Daniel Vitek hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georgi Asparuhov in the 86th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After taking down the ball on Old Boys's corner Basarab Strungă fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vavrinec Holub quite easily take care of the ball. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Valdemar Turecek got a free kick in the 89th minute. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelu Feraru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Old Boys were the better team. Old Boys's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
