Caelan Hayes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irreal Madrid's Afonsinho Mattos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 10th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adhemar Valadares in the 14th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Isaltino Pirani notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of England's Khalid Kennedy. Khalid Kennedy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Issac Dawson struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Noel Braga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for England. Micah Macdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Irreal Madrid's Noel Braga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Xavier Gallagher in the 26th minute of play. Khalid Kennedy didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaltino Pirani went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. With a little luck, England's Khalid Kennedy got control of the ball when Afonsinho Mattos tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute Issac Dawson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Braga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Irreal Madrid's Afonsinho Mattos in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Adhemar Valadares hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Kyle Cox sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Seth Young kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. England's Khalid Kennedy proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save England from getting a goal against them. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jânio Mendes to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Irreal Madrid got a freekick which was hit by Remo Hermes. After a defensive mix-up in Irreal Madrid's zone, Kyle Cox stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Braga came out of the goal and Kyle Cox tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eddie Willis kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. After having played for 62 minutes, Rachid Dib managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Irreal Madrid's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rachid Dib was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Irreal Madrid's Afonsinho Mattos nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Khalid Kennedy made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vernon Kinney in the 66th minute of play. In the 69th minute, Jânio Mendes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Khalid Kennedy was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Irreal Madrid made a substitution. Rodolfo Trigo replaced Isaltino Pirani. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Kyle Cox managed to get in a good position for a shot. England's supporters rose to their feet, but Kyle Cox was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Braga breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 75 minutes into the match, England's Issac Dawson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Noel Braga narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Afonsinho Mattos, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. A well done corner resulted in Vernon Kinney drilling the ball in to score 6-1 behind England's goalkeeper. In the 96th minute Rodolfo Trigo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Irreal Madrid's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
