The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Leszek Huchro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 13th minute of the match. Leszek Huchro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 18th minute of play. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 0-1. 20 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Egbert Nijveldt managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Egbert Nijveldt hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Arkadiusz Witwicki struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Arnout Reekers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for BESTIA GDAŃSK. When Bartosz Gad fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BESTIA GDAŃSK's protests and gave Bartosz Gad a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BESTIA GDAŃSK getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Bartosz Gad hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the match, BESTIA GDAŃSK's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Leszek Huchro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes had been played when some careless play by BESTIA GDAŃSK's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer was slow to take the kick. During this time Netherlands's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of BESTIA GDAŃSK's goalie and right to Lars Meesters. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. BESTIA GDAŃSK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. In the 38th match minute, BESTIA GDAŃSK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abdulbaki Tanay to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 39th minute of play forced BESTIA GDAŃSK's goalkeeper Leszek Huchro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 41 minutes into the match, Gustaaf Groeneveldt notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of BESTIA GDAŃSK's Leszek Huchro. After 73 minutes BESTIA GDAŃSK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 77thth minute, Leszek Huchro skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 82 minutes into the game, Abdulbaki Tanay was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. BESTIA GDAŃSK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Netherlands the free kick. BESTIA GDAŃSK's Leszek Huchro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save BESTIA GDAŃSK from getting a goal against them. In the 84th minute, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Leszek Huchro. Leszek Huchro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. In the 89th minute, Netherlands's Lars Meesters dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5.
