Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Bayan Baye could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Flavio Vittori made a huge save. Gianpaolo Mascari made in the 10th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Siricio Liotta however managed to control. Bayan Baye's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Flavio Vittori firmly grabbed it by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 13th minute of play forced Wargön's goalkeeper Sören Tunberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Tunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sören Tunberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porziano Marchitelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 27 minutes into the game, Porziano Marchitelli cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Sören Tunberg was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A sloppy throw-in by Eliseo Cutri in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Wargön's David Buhăescu. Eliseo Cutri made in the 43rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Wargön's Archibaldo Velaz. The supporters of Wargön booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseo Cutri didn't get a good kick on the ball. 47 minutes into the game, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sören Tunberg made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After the first half Italy were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mikael Liberatore in the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the game, Siricio Liotta threw the ball into play from the sideline. Wargön's Zdzislaw Liermann quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Sören Tunberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 61st minute of play. After having played for 65 minutes, Mikael Liberatore managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wargön's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mikael Liberatore was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 69th minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sören Tunberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Archibaldo Velaz made in the 72nd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Bayan Baye. 75 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Mikael Liberatore came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sören Tunberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 82nd minute of the match. Sören Tunberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sigfrido Auletta in the 83rd minute of play. In the 84th minute, Mikael Liberatore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Flavio Vittori was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Italy made a substitution. Sansone Vanella replaced Gianpaolo Mascari. Wargön's Reşat Sancaktar was substituted for Nils-Arne Nilsson. Wargön made a substitution. Ivar Siöberg replaced Mikael Liberatore. A collision led to Italy getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Gomberto Picozzi hit a great ball. Ivar Siöberg took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Flavio Vittori. Flavio Vittori dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. The throw-in from Archibaldo Velaz in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Italy's Eliseo Cutri. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivar Siöberg in the 95th minute of play. Wargön's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
