Frank Sachs might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sean Van Dijck. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Sachs ran back to his position shaking his head. Emanuel Coekelbergh made in the 26th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joris De Raeve. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Frank Sachs managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Sachs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sean Van Dijck breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fredrik Terwenhout got free with Tommy Kahn in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anios Karaoulanis in the 33rd minute of play. The supporters of Germany booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Coekelbergh didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fredrik Terwenhout, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a rather tough play, Germany's Janik Vogt got a free kick in the 58th minute. Emanuel Coekelbergh took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 59th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tommy Kahn. Germany's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Limburg United had won after a very even match.
