Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Sachs made the kick off which started today's match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mo Salah got free with Tommy Kahn in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Germany's zone, Mo Salah stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tommy Kahn came out of the goal and Mo Salah tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Mo Salah sent off a good shot on target. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 19th minute, but Tommy Kahn got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Germany hanging dry this time. Manly FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Duke Carberry in the 20th minute. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Mo Salah tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Mo Salah sent off a good shot on target. 33 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mo Salah. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Germany's Adrian Dreifuss got a free kick in the 35th minute. After having played for 37 minutes, Mo Salah managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Manly FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mo Salah was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Willy Stieler made in the 38th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Manly FC's Alexander Arnold. Andrew Robertson hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Mo Salah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mo Salah to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goalkeeper Ray Clemence had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Sachs. Mo Salah might have been able to make a better finish in the 55th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tommy Kahn. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mo Salah ran back to his position shaking his head. Mo Salah scored 2-0 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Manly FC's John Aldridge was substituted for Mo Salah. Manly FC's Andrew Robertson quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Linus Schwerner, made in the 75th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by John Aldridge in the 80th minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sachs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ray Clemence made a huge save. When Willy Stieler fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Germany's protests and gave Willy Stieler a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Manly FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willy Stieler didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Germany defense, John Aldridge kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. The Germany fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tommy Kahn should have stopped the shot. Frank Sachs recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Manly FC had played much better football throughout.
