Nelsinho Paulista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tommy Kahn tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerrit Hardering saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, New England Patriots's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Gerrit Hardering reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn made an important save on a dangerous shot by Robertinho Teodorowski in the 35th minute. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Sahnoyan Şah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Tommy Kahn made a huge save. After the first half Germany were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Cao Jian Feng fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored New England Patriots's protests and gave Cao Jian Feng a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Germany booed when New England Patriots was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cao Jian Feng didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Robertinho Teodorowski came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robertinho Teodorowski in the 63rd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Nelsinho Paulista ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Janik Vogt kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. New England Patriots's Sahnoyan Şah got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sahnoyan Şah in the 81st minute of play. 83 minutes into the match, Frank Sachs dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gerrit Hardering, 1-2. Afonso Alvarenga hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Although New England Patriots had been in control for most of the match, Germany still came away with the win.
