Franco Alfonso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. 31 minutes into the game, Franco Alfonso recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Keld Paulsen. Franco Alfonso showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 4-0. Keld Paulsen was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Franco Alfonso capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Franco Alfonso really showed his touch with that goal: 5-0. The supporters of Denmark booed when The Masters was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Luis Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Keld Paulsen made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Franco Alfonso sent off a good shot on target. In the 40th minute, Gervasio Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Franco Alfonso made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, The Masters's Franco Alfonso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Keld Paulsen narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute, Danilo Deambrosi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The long shot by Chris Nygaard in the 60th minute really tested Folkert Vos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Federico Jurdan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Masters's Federico Jurdan quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kenn Skou, made in the 67th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 68 minutes, Franco Alfonso put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Keld Paulsen. Franco Alfonso's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Keld Paulsen read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Lars Steen hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Franco Alfonso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. Kenn Skou kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Federico Jurdan in the 84th minute of the match. Keld Paulsen didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franco Alfonso went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 9-0 was the resulting score. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franco Alfonso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Masters's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
